Admission requirements

New student

It is accepted for a student to be registered in the kindergarten in the play group from 3 years and above and who has not reached the age of KG1 in the year of registration.
A student is accepted to register in kindergarten in KG1 class from 3 years and 8 months before 01/09 of the year of registration.
A student is accepted to register in kindergarten in KG2 year from 4 years and 8 months before 01/09 of the year of registration.
It is accepted to register a student in the first grade  from 5 years and 8 months before 01/09 of the year of registration.

Guardian
Registration or renewal of students is accepted by the guardian at Al-Hassad International Schools / Khalda if:
There are no accumulated balances owed to the guardian or settlement (the soundness of the school’s financial situation).
The presence of a legal authorization for the guardian in the absence of the father (safety of the family’s legal status).

Student’s Renewal
A student’s renewal in Al-Hassad International Schools / Khalda is accepted if there are no previous observations from the schools during the previous academic year (there is no withholding of registration by the schools from an academic or behavioral standpoint).

General provisions for registration
Al-Hassad International Kindergarten and Schools / Khalda are not specialized in dealing with cases that require early intervention, such as autism in its forms and degrees, hyperactivity, epilepsy, hyperactivity, etc.

Al-Hassad International Kindergarten and Schools / Khaldaaccept a student who suffers from problems with acceptable grades that can be treated, provided that a shadow teacher is provided with the student.
It is necessary for the student to be physically healthy and free of disabilities, as schools apologize for accepting cases of blindness, deafness, mutism, etc
It is necessary for the student in Al-Hassad International Kindergarten to master the use of the bathroom.

Admission Procedures for New Students

 The new student visits the Admissions and Registration Division since the beginning of March of each year, and obtains a “No Objection to Registration” form (QF 01-07), and takes it with him to the admission examinations committee and the interview committee to confirm the results of the exam and interview and have them signed by the approved committees (after performing them). Then return the form to the Registration Division to begin registration procedures.

The new student in AL Hassad International schools / Khalda is subject to an admission exam and a personal interview according to the procedure contained in the Supervision Department Form No. (7).

After approving the student’s admission, the student and guardian shall visit the Registration Department, bringing with them a letter of no objection to registration.

Registration Procedures for Old & New Students

The old student is not considered automatically registered in schools, but the seat must be reserved by paying the registration fees. Otherwise, the new student has equal priority in registration.

– The parent and student review the school registration division during the registration period that is announced, which
usually begins for former students in February of each year.
– The registration officer, after receiving the duly signed no-objection form for the new student, calculates all fees
electronically on the school system and then confirms them if approved by the guardian.
– The registration officer archives the new student’s NOC form on the school system.
– The registration officer enters all of the student’s data into the registration form, especially the phone number.
– The parent receives the registration card from the school system, which shows the financial data and payments due.
– The parent signs the registration agreement with the schools, which guarantees financial commitment.
– The guardian for students from kindergarten to sixth grade signs the code of conduct, and for students from seventh to
eighth grade, the code of conduct is signed by the student himself and the guardian.
– The registration officer hands the student the “Student Guide in Al-Hassad International Schools / Khalda”
(Attachment 2).
– The guardian of the new student must bring the student’s paper file from his previous school and hand it over to the
public relations employee in charge or have it duly certified by the Ministry of Education within two weeks of the start
of the academic year, as described in the public relations procedure.
– The guardian follows up on the transfer of the student’s electronic file from his previous school within two weeks of the
start of the academic year.

Playgroup – KG1 – KG2 – First Grade

1- (3) Personal photos.

The second grade to the eighth grade

1- The student’s folder and the complete papers it contains

Students Returning to Jordan

1- The required identification documents are certified by the country from which they are coming (the Ministry of Education in that country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan).
2- Certification procedures in Jordan are completed in (the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Examinations and Tests, the Directorate of Private Education). Our schools can carry out the certification procedures on behalf of the student.

  


Code Of Conduct 
for 4-5-6 Graders

I ____________ the parent/guardian of the student: __________________ acknowledges that I have read and agree to the items of the student’s code of conduct in the International school and I pledge to the fulfillment of my son/daughter to all the following items:

 

-Punctuality is essential, and students should not be negligent in their duties. They are expected to exert effort to achieve the best results. Any negligence will result in an academic violation.

-Full compliance with the school uniform policy is required. For male students, it consists of gray trousers and a blue-striped shirt, while female students should wear (marioul)   and a pink-striped shirt. The hijab should be white or pink for female students starting from the sixth grade. Students from the ninth to twelfth grades should wear the long school uniform. Wearing sports attire is only allowed on physical education days. No student will be allowed to enter the classroom without the proper school uniform (summer and winter), which is available in the school storerooms.

-Wearing any type of accessories for males and females, as well as open-toed shoes, is strictly prohibited.

-Students must adhere to the official school uniform and regulations in all places and events where the school is represented. This includes situations outside the school, such as international exams.

-Personal hygiene is essential, and students must maintain clean appearances, including trimmed nails and well-groomed hair for female Muslim students.

-Male students should have appropriate haircuts that align with Islamic values and avoid any appearances that contradict Muslim values.

-Leaving the classroom for any reason without permission from the administration is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

-Bringing mobile phones to school is only allowed under exceptional circumstances, and students must hand over their phones to the floor supervisor after school hours. Failure to comply with this rule will result in confiscation of the device, which will only be returned in the presence of the parent/guardian.

-Students should maintain general orderliness within the school premises, refrain from running in corridors, and adhere to the right side when moving around.

-Students must follow classroom rules, avoid causing disturbances during lessons, and not tamper with school property. Any damages caused by students will be subject to fines.

-Students are expected to show respect to their peers and treat them with courtesy, refraining from any verbal or physical harm. No tolerance will be shown towards any student who stirs up conflicts or disputes among other students, which will result in immediate parental involvement.

– Show respect and appreciation to the school staff. Disrespect will not be tolerated.

– The student must comply with school rules and regulations while on the bus and during any school events or activities.

Policy for iPad Usage in the International School:

The iPad is considered an educational tool to enrich the learning process, and any misuse will not be tolerated. The following rules apply to iPad usage:

-Students are not allowed to engage with the iPad during class for anything unrelated to the lesson. Taking pictures or recording videos without the teacher’s permission is prohibited.

-Uploading or sharing explicit images, videos, or inappropriate content among classmates is strictly forbidden, and any student caught doing so will face consequences.

-Deleting or uninstalling any programs provided by the school is not allowed.

-Downloading games on the iPad and misusing social media apps are not permitted.

-Students’ devices may be inspected regularly by IT supervisors and administrative staff, so personal use should be avoided.

-Bringing the iPad to the schoolyard is not allowed.

-In case of proven misuse of the iPad, an immediate violation will be issued, signed by the parent/guardian. If the violation is repeated, a meeting with the parent/guardian will be arranged, and a second violation will be documented as a first warning. If the violation continues, the iPad will be confiscated for two days and will only be returned in the presence of the parent/guardian. A second warning will be issued, and the student may be barred from re-enrolling for the following academic year.
